Hey lovely souls 🥰
Hope and pray that having blessed time by the grace of God🙏
Our monsoon season has begun and it’s raining throughout the country since few days. Older parts of big cities like Karachi are facing drainage issues as usual sadly . Few unfortunate incidents have been reported as well because of sudden rushes of water in dry rivers where people were busy in taking pictures!
In Islamabad we were waiting for the rain desperately to be honest,so when it rained ,we tried to do some outdoor activities like shopping and visiting few tourist spots . Sharing few glimpses of our trip to hilltop visiting sight Damian E Koh ( lap of the hill) .we spent one beautiful hour while chatting and looking down to the gorgeous city of the Islamabad 🥰 which is covered in smoke most of the time if it doesn’t rain for few days.
While having breakfast when we realised that day is going to stay cloudy we found it great for going out, everyone suggested his favourite destination but mine was considered best because watching city from above clearly is rare otherwise.
Though the whole city looks like a beautiful park but when our rented car started to move upward hills coming closer seemed so welcoming 🥹🤗
The whole way to hill site was packed with cars because of the favourable weather, this is entrance
From where you can imagine the density of the crowd .but beauty of the day stood within and I decided to focus on it only 😊
I had to wait for the moment when I can click without the possibility of capturing people mostly
I felt grateful each day for having my younger son for long term with us 🥹🙏🥰♥️
The most unusual sight was finding so monkeys playing in the park 🤗 some were just wandering around and observing visitors quietly but some were chasing each other angrily,I realised that children were offering them different things so when some female monkeys or younger monkeys would take something to eat the aggressive male monkeys would harass them to ward off. One of the females followed my youngest son until he gave her piece of his ice cream.
Hubby took many pictures of mother monkeys who were having their babies on their backs and trying to feed them with food offered by children . The instructions of not feeding monkeys were displayed on many places but children were having fun and parents hardly seemed concerned either.
Both of my sons left some money on the rug where an artist was playing a beautiful local tune on some local guitar like instrument. I feel happy when they do so always because they saw their parents appreciating artists always 🥰♥️
I took this photo when our ride passed by the Faisal Mosque.place was full of visitors as expected. I envy with people living here in northern part who have privilege to go out when weather is suitable. I wish I can move here asap 🤗
Heartfelt thanks for your kind support of sweet comments dear friends,I am trying to visit each of you everyday when possible.
Thinking of you all! Health, peace and happiness to you all and to all you love 🙏🥰♥️
Great that you all went to the hilltop and saw the lovely view together. The monkeys must be very interesting to watch too. Thanks so much for the lovely post. You sound to be doing well. The move sounds good for you. Wishing you a beautiful July and much much happiness🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💮💮💮💮🪷🪷🪷🪷
ReplyDeleteThanks dear Ellie 🥰
DeleteYes rain cleared the environment and this beautiful transformation gave us opportunity to enjoy the beauty of capital city 🤗
Best wishes to you my friend ♥️
I don't think Coca-Cola is very good for monkeys!
ReplyDeleteEvery such drink is even harmful for not just monkeys but humans as well dear Debra, regular use is damaging
DeleteI'm so glad your family got to enjoy the city and the views. You must have been so happy with them and the crowds doing the same thing. You'll be glad to live there.
ReplyDeleteDear Boud thanks for sweet words 🥰
DeleteI had to move to a small city near desert after my marriage and I spent 32 years there happily by the grace of God🙏 because I have family with me,now when children are moving out of the house. It makes sense to move to my native part of the land because hubby wants this also. I hope it will be true for us in future 🤞
You have raised your sons well.
ReplyDeleteThis is purely grace of great God dear Christine 🥹🙏🥰
DeleteWow what a wonderful post. I love seeing all the places you go. You are so beautiful. I'm happy that you have had time to spend with your sons. The monkeys would be a site. The only ones here are in Zoos. Continue to have a blessed time there.
ReplyDeleteBig thanks for lovely comment dear Nichole 🥰
DeleteMonkeys turned the place into something very exciting actually as everyone including children were taking interest in them and observing monkeys has made children’s day special I can say that 🤗
Can’t say about upper northern areas as we haven’t seen any monkeys during our last year visit to Kashmir but Islamabad hills have them abundantly. Though I hardly saw them wandering around openly in public before
Rain is my favorite weather. It washes the impurities from the air. Your sons become more handsome as they get older.
ReplyDeleteHeartfelt thanks dear Emma for beautiful words 🥰
DeleteUndoubtedly rain is blessing specially where it is needed so badly.and yes it refreshes everything beautifully 😍
Good that you get a break from the heat and get out to see some things.
ReplyDeleteWe are happy and thankful for this wonderful opportunity dear Red 🥰
DeleteHi Baili, it's nice to read your post again and seeing you and all of your family having a wonderful time. I love going to the top of mountains and hills to see what is down below whether it be a city or just scenery. I can see that so many people had the same idea as you did to go and see the wonderful sight. I've forgotten whether you and your husband will be relocating to Islamabad now that he is retired. If you are moving, how soon will you be moving. I think you will love it there.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for kind words dear Joyful 🥰
DeleteHow sweet you too like hiking in cloudy weather.here we such chances are rare so we jump to explore what is best 🤗
I don’t know the exact time but I think hubby’s retirement paperwork will take around a year or little bit so we have to stay in the city in case of urgent piece of work. Once it ends I hope we will move to the Islamabad asap
Lovely photos Baili. I enjoyed seeing all of them, the beautiful colour of the Bougainvillea is gorgeous, the monkeys a treat to see, the mountain view is wonderful and probably a bit cooler up there, your sons photos, you and your husband, just lovely - continue to enjoy and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteFrom the bottom of my heart I thank you dear Margaret for lovely words 🥰🤗♥️🙏
DeleteGostei muito das fotografias. Por aí são as chuvas. Nós estamos com alor de 40 graus.
ReplyDeleteAnda tudo descontrolado.
Uma boa semana.
Um beijo.
Thanks precious Grace🥰
DeleteSeems like your summers are quite warm as ours though in southern Pakistan where I live temperatures cross up to 50 centigrade sometimes and humidity is killing .
We humans have control only on our personal thoughts and actions rest is beyond our approach at the end to the day no matter how hard we try
Good week🥰👍
It sounds like a lovely day out and about. I live on a flat island so the mountains are impressive and lovely and I appreciate seeming them. I love your family photos. Everyone looks peaceful and happy. And those rascal monkeys…great photo! The baby is so cute!
ReplyDeletePrecious friend Marie 🥰
DeleteThanks for sweet words 🤗
I didn’t know honestly that the whole island you live on has no hills or mountains. I grew up in the village surrounded by hills and higher mountains chain stars from these hills so living without mountains for 32 years was kind of painful.I am strongly and deeply in love with them 🥹🥰🤗
O yes I found the baby monkey pic most pretty 🥹🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️
Rain and thunder while I write.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
Hope all is harmless dear Pedro 🙏🥰
ReplyDeleteDearest Baili, it's always fascinating to see views from your country. The landscapes and buildings are really beautiful and it was especially lovely to see you and your family having good time together.
ReplyDeleteI hope the summer there will not be too hot. Where I live we have had a year with little rain. That's why the cool and rainy weather recently has made me very happy.
Stay safe and well! ♥️ Hugs and blessings!
Your country is so beautiful!! My parents have been to India, and they said the monkeys there try to steal things sometimes! Such lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteDear Baili - thank you so much for sharing parts of your beautiful trip. The mountains look gorgeous. It sounds like you are having lots of rain like we are right now. Was so dry last summer and now we are so wet. Enjoy your family and have a blessed start to July. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBaili, it is always wonderful to read your posts celebrating time spent with family. Your younger sons have grown up in the years since I have been reading your blog😮It is wonderful that you all are having a good time. The monkeys are quite the beggers, but not all the treats are good for them or humans.😉
ReplyDeleteDear Baili, your words are a window so wide,
ReplyDeleteTo rains that refresh and hills that you climbed.
Through monkeys that chase and crowds that appear,
Your joy and reflections still shine bright and clear.
Grateful you share each scene and each view—
Sending warm thoughts and kind wishes to you!
John 😊😘👌🙏
How lovely! A view into a world so different from mine.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you have a break from the heat.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy your post, especially your family photographs.
All the best Jan
It's so sweet that your younger son is with you for a longer period, and those moments of observing the monkeys, even the cheeky ones, sound like such a unique experience. And how touching that your sons share your appreciation for artists.
ReplyDeleteI can certainly understand why you'd envy those who live with such beautiful scenery and opportunities for outdoor activities right on their doorstep. Thank you so much for sharing your trip and these beautiful glimpses of your blessed time.

Beautiful photos Baili! Wonderful photos of your family, the scenery and blossoms and the cute monkeys. Have a great day and happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this post of your lovely day in and above Islamabad, Baili! I'm working backwards to catch up. We are home again and longing for the last bits of our renovation to be done, especially the professional cleaning. I'm glad that your middle son has some time home with you. I've been wondering how Ali is doing with being retirement. It is an adjustment! Sending you much love and a hope for peace and happiness. Tomorrow (July 7th) is Ringo Starr's birthday (One of the Beatles). At 12:00 pm in each person's time zone he wants everyone to give peace and love to the world. (You hold the index and middle finger up in a V with your thumb holding the other fingers down and say "Peace and love.") I hope I remember to do it, and I will be thinking of you and your family! 😂
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place!
